The SCIEX iMethod Application for Allergens screens for the presence of milk and egg protein in baked goods. The iMethod Application contains 3 tests and a small, 7 spectrum, full scan MS/MS library for the egg and milk peptides being analyzed. Two of the methods are MRM, ion ratio experiements - one using the conventional MRM approach and one using sMRM. The third method uses a targeted MRM approach where full scan MS/MS spectra are collected and searched against the library.
